We spoke to one of the remix’s producers to delve deeper into the surge of Future Rave and its impact. Their insights into the genre, its driving forces, and future direction shed light on the mechanics of the music industry and the path that Future Rave is paving in the dance music culture. Their comments reflect the genre’s influence and promising future, offering an intriguing perspective for all music enthusiasts.

1 – In your own words, how would you describe what Future Rave is?

I see it as a big change in the scene. Cool rhythms on all elements, phat basses and melodic pieces with hard lead sounds.

2 – Why do you think Future Rave as a genre has become so popular lately?

I think because David Guetta started this. It sounded so fresh because different genres/sounds were combined. He is a famous person in the scene because he makes great music and can reach many people.

3 – With more and more producers flooding into the scene to produce Future Rave, how do you set yourself apart in your productions?

To be honest. I just start a project and will see what comes out.. I never push myself to make a future rave style track. Something will come out and you can change the sounds to future rave sounds along the way.

4 – Do you think Future Rave is just a fad genre, or do you think it has real staying power in the culture of dance music?

I think it will stay. This genre has a lot of inspiring sounds and rhythms which many people and producers will love and keep using.

5 – Which Future Rave artists are you most inspired by and excite you the most?

For me it’s still David Guetta & Morten who started this. The first tracks are the most inspiring tracks for me because of the simplicity of the melodies in the track and the vocals that came from an older track.
