When the beats of Maximono first echoed in the music world, it wasn’t just another tune but a remarkable fusion of two spirited souls, Nick and Sebi, exploring the vibrant rhythms of London. Gaining rapid acclaim within DJ circles, this duo swiftly embarked on global tours, gracing rave caves, festivals, and even the unique ambiance of cruise ships.

However, 2018 marked a pivotal change. With Nick’s exit, Sebi found himself at a crossroads, pondering the essence of Maximono while managing his software business. While the beats continued, there was a palpable void, a yearning for the collaborative spirit that initially defined Maximono.

Sebi’s musings culminated in “The Outtakes”, a nostalgic 12-track album unveiling previously unreleased gems. A true gift for global fans, it features tracks they’ve eagerly awaited. As a final salute, Maximono’s essence will echo through German streets this August, with Sebi collaborating with the iconic Kyle Watson, notably in Hannover—the birthplace of their musical journey.

From late 90s breakbeats and drum & bass transitions to distinctive house music resonating with industry giants like Dirtybird, Maximono’s musical trajectory is a testament to unbridled innovation. Hits with artists such as Malaa, Mat.Joe, and Marten Hørger underscore their influence, establishing a legacy for generations of music enthusiasts.

Maximono: Crafting Unique Beats with “No Rules!”

Every day, as Sebi, the genius behind MAXIMONO, steps into his studio, he’s greeted by a mantra: “No Rules!” This approach has defined his journey since the late 90s. From dabbling in breakbeats, jungle, and drum & bass, Sebi’s reinvention of house music in 2015 heralded a new era, catching the industry’s elites’ eyes (and ears).

Drawing inspirations from diverse genres, Sebi’s concoctions have been celebrated by renowned labels, including Dirtybird, This Ain’t Bristol, and Insomniac—collaborations with talents like Malaa, Mat.Joe, and Marten Hørger birthed chart-topping tracks, solidifying Maximono’s stature in the global dance music panorama.
