Hi Sander Wilder, how are you?
Hey there, I’m quite good, thank you!
Can you tell us about the moment you became inspired to pursue a career in music?
Many years ago, it was more of just a passion and hobby, but things changed when making Electronic Dance Music became a part of my life and it turned into something that will always be there. After many years, 2017 was somehow a turning point when I decided to start signing my music to different labels.
When you first discovered Electronic Music, can you remember if there was a particular Artist that sparked your passion?
In the early years, Artists like ATB & Armin Van Buuren were great inspirations for me.
Do you think your influences and inspirations have developed as you’ve grown as an Artist?
For sure, over the years I’ve explored different musical directions and had different substyles and Artist influences that have helped me to develop my own sound.
Which genres outside of Electronic Music do you find inspirational?
Orchestral Music, Classical Music & World Music (African/Oriental) are some of the best external inspirations.
What about your productions do you hope inspires future music Producers?
I think every music producer will have his own expectations and desires, I hope that everything from my sound and composition serves as a good element of inspiration.
Do you ever take inspiration outside of music? If so, where?
Yes. In nature, different sports activities, or travelling – I find them a good source of inspiration.
What keeps you motivated creatively?
Goals, diverse influences, a small touch of an unknown element in each project I’m working on, technology, experimentation, and a creative workflow.
Who are your biggest musical inspirations now?
I cannot point to any specific Artists, but I feel that my biggest inspiration overall comes from a diverse musical portfolio of Melodic House, Techno, Progressive and Trance.
Do you have any inspirational tips or advice for budding Producers?
The most important advice I can give is that learning never ends and it is normal to experience ups and downs but the most important thing, if you really love music and want to develop your journey, is to remain active and curious.
