Rich Kim has held his position for 10 years as Editor-At-Large for Magnetic Magazine and was former staff photographer for BPM, VAPORS, URB, FADER, Microsoft, Puma, Scion and Nike. He also covered practically all of the most sought after VIP events, clubs and pool parties in Los Angeles, Hawai'i and San Diego.
Rich has been in the Los Angeles dance music scene since 1989 and is one of the lucky few to have reveled in the “Golden Age” of RAVE and the true underground scene in LA during the 90s and yes, he is still going strong and in love with anything and everything off the beaten path.
With respects to gaming, who can say they played Call of Duty when it was only released for Windows 2000/XP, before the age of online multiplayer?
Rich can! When he wasn’t hanging out scavenging for quarters to play with at the Family Arcade on Vermont Ave, in the 80s, he spent hours upon hours gaming on Atari, Colecovision, Intellivision, Commodore 64, Apple IIe, NES, SNES N64, GAME CUBE, Gameboy, DS, SEGA Gamegear, SEGA Genesis, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox G1, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. Let's not forget the countless hours he currently spends on his PS4, PS5, Switch, custom gaming PC and the oh so many handheld emulators…(he might have a problem and need an intervention).
